ENVIRONMENTAL PROGRAMS DIVISION

The Environmental Programs Division combines the Department's Environmental Review functions and the Natural Resources Division in the Department of Community Development.

The Division now collaborates on projects and shared issues related to environmental aspects of land use planning; ecosystem protection and has resulted in a better linking between science, planning and current projects that benefit both the environment and the people of Kitsap County.

To all Chico Creek Planting Volunteers,

THANK YOU for volunteering to plant at Chico Creek! Your hard work will be paying off especially in April and May when its raining! With your critical help, we planted more than 4,000 native trees and shrubs at the Chico Creek restoration site at Kitsap Golf and Country Club.

Please come back and visit the site when the chum salmon come back in late October.
