(Port Orchard) – Temporary restrictions are
in place for motorists on Seabeck Highway NW at the Big Beef bridge (on
Seabeck Highway between NW Pioneer Road and Manley Road NW). The speed
limit is reduced to 25 MPH, and a 10,000 pound weight limit is in
effect. "There has been some storm damage to a bridge abutment there,"
according to Doug Bear from the County's Public Works Department.
"More information will be available Monday after
maintenance staff and engineers meet to assess the repairs needed," said
Bear. Check the County's web site for updated information.
