When: Wednesday, February 10, 2010, 2:30 p.m.

(Port Orchard) –
Work crews are nearing the end of the road for construction work on the
County’s newest road, NW Greaves Way. The new road connects Old Frontier
Road NW with the intersection of SR #3. The new road improves traffic
between the east and west sides of Silverdale.
County Commissioners Steve Bauer and Josh Brown, along with members of
the Greaves family, will meet at the site for a brief ribbon-cutting
ceremony. The ceremony is Wednesday (2/10/10) at 2:30 p.m. The public is
invited to attend.
Shortly after the ceremony the road will open for traffic. The speed
limit on the new road is 35 MPH. “There is some additional work that
needs to be completed,” according to Jacques Dean, County construction
manager, “but that work can continue while the road is open,” Dean said.
