Price for All Passport Books and Cards to
Increase
(Port Orchard) - Dave Peterson, Kitsap County
Clerk, announced today his office was recently informed by the U.S.
Department of State of an increase to passport books and cards. As of
July 13, 2010, fees for adult passport books will increase by $35 each.
There will be smaller increases for passport cards and for passport books
for minors. More information on this increase may be found on the Passport
website at
www.travel.state.gov/passport. Peterson wanted to remind anyone
interested in applying for a passport to come into the Kitsap County Clerk’s
Office before the increase takes effect. The Clerk's Office hours are Monday
through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and no appointment is needed.
