Local Staples stores will recycle the following items for free: keyboards, mice and speakers. All other computer components (monitors, laptops, digital cameras and desktop copiers) are charged a fee for recycling. All business locations in the list below charge a fee for the recycling cost of the items. Costco provides a free mail-back option for laptops, MP3 players, monitors, game systems, camcorders, digital cameras, PDA's, printers and fax machines. Check Costco's Recycle Program Search the Internet under "Cash for Electronics" to find mail-back opportunities that pay for certain electronic items.
