Household Hazardous Waste 

Left over wastes form hazardous products used in homes are called household hazardous waste. The average family generally has more than 60 hazardous products in their home and garage. Products with the following signal words are considered hazardous: CAUTION – WARNING – DANGER – FLAMMABLE – CORROSIVE – POISONOUS – TOXIC – EXPLOSIVE - REACTIVE.
